                Arcang.; R. incrassatus Guss.]
Shores, wet ground. – Probably to be excluded from Marettimo and from the Sicilian flora: spec-
imens of R. chius are perhaps originally from Ischia island and misidentified with Sicilian mate-
rial (R. parviflorus) (Ross 1896); Specimen by Heldreich given to Gussone and probably to be
identified with R. parviflorus s.s. (Gussone 1845: 836). ?To cancel from the Sicilian flora.
              452. Ranunculus gracilis E. D. Clarke, Travels 2 (2): 336 (1814) [?R. schowii Tineo ex

Polizzi Generosa (Raimondo & al. 1995). Due to the strong human presence in the collecting
                localities, further surveys are needed.
