                Species of Central-Southern Italy and Sicily, described by Brilli Cattarini & Gubellini (1986). –
                E– Stony ground, cliffs, and semi-cliff localities. – Usually known in the Madonie Mountains
                throughout a herbarium specimen collected by Pedicino before 1883 (in RO sub C. graeca).
                Never found again after the description. – RR.

                ?D: Entity taxonomically not well defined; probably an edaphic variant of  C. flexuosa.
