SOUHRN
Jarní migrace Accipitriformes byla sledována na ostrovì Marettimo (jiní Itálie) od 26. bøezna do
14. dubna 2000. Ostrov leí v místì, kde je støední Støedozemní moøe nejuí, tedy mezi Sicílií a
Tuniskem, pøiblinì 130 km SV od mysu Cap Bon. Celkem bylo napoèítáno 921 ptákù, vèetnì
577 motákù pochopù (Circus aeruginosus) a 284 luòákù hnìdých (Milvus migrans). Druhy,
zaznamenané na Marettimu v prùbìhu této studie i v prùbìhu pøedchozí studie odpovídají
druhùm zjitìným na Messinské úinì (jiní Itálie) od roku 1984, ale odliují se od pozorování z
mysu Cap Bon (Tunisko). Znamená to, e nìkteré druhy, zejména kánì lesní (Buteo buteo),
orlík krátkoprstý (Circaetus gallicus) a kánì bìlochvostá (Buteo rufinus), pøes støední èást
Støedozemního moøe prakticky vùbec netáhnou. Tyto druhy nemají relativnì dlouhá a tíhlá
køídla. Z tohoto dùvodu je nepravdìpodobné, e by podnikaly dlouhé cesty pøes moøe.
