               After the Mattanza

               By the end of the day there were all sorts of clefts and cuts on the bodies of the tuna. The first


               lot of marks were made by tonnorotti during mattanza when they hooked and heaved the tuna

               from  the  net.  The  second  lot  were  made  by  marine  biologists,  scientific  observers  and
