grande esplosione ne l cuore del
Mediterraneo fa emergere la som-
mità di un vulcano sottomari no. Af-
fiora così, con violenza, con prepo-
tenza Pantelleria, isola bruna e di
fuoco, nata dal mare, dal magma,
dalla lava incandescente.

ANO BURNING ISLAND
Hundreds of thousands of years ago a
great explosion in the heart of the
Mediterranean provoked the emer-
sion of the top of a submarine voi-
cono. So Pantelleria outcrops vio-
lently and domineeringly as a dark
and buming island, bom from the sea,
the magma, the incandescent lava.
